Music streaming is broken. Most platforms pool everyone's money globally and split it across millions of streams — so a working musician makes pennies and the top 1% takes everything. We built a different way: each listener's subscription splits only among the artists they actually played. Same listening. 5–20× more money to artists you love. But we need musicians and listeners to actually try it.
Artists — read this first
Keep your music on Spotify, Apple, your distributor — anywhere it already is.
HART is 100% non-exclusive and additive to your income mix. Not a replacement. Not a takeover.
For artists
Hey — I'm Whitt, founder of Human Arts. I built this because I was tired of watching working musicians get paid pennies while their fans paid full subscription prices. But this only works if real musicians help test it.
Do me — and every working musician trying to make a living from their craft — a favor: be one of the first 100 Founding Artists. Help us prove there's a better way. You keep your music everywhere else it already is (100% non-exclusive), so the only cost is 5 minutes to apply.
For listeners
You already pay for streaming. You probably already feel a little weird about the fact that almost none of your money makes it to the artists you actually love. Here's the fix.
On HART, your $15.99/month splits only among the artists you played, weighted by listening time. If you played one artist all month, they get ~$11.19 of your subscription — directly. Same listening behavior. Hugely different impact. Every play is basically a small favor to a working musician.

Send me a personal email and I'll reply with a time we can hop on a quick Zoom. No pitch deck, no sales speech — just an honest conversation about whether HART makes sense for you.
